Partnership work programme
Apur’s 2015/2016 partnership programme is a part of the new municipal project for Paris and the inevitable metropolitan transformations which are confirmed  by the setting up of the Greater Paris Metropolis -Métropole Grand Paris- -on January 1st, 2016.
The preparatory work carried out with our leading partners, of which the City of Paris is one of the most important,  who met with members of Apur for a seminar on September 22nd  and 29th 2014,  3 main objectives were proposed as a result:
  • Act as a tool serving Parisian public policy making  and develop  planning proposals for the future.
  • Serve as a guiding light in the setting up of the  Métropole Grand Paris for that concerning the efficient  running of the future metropolis as defined in the text of the Maptam law (Modernisation of Public Territorial Action and Affirmation of Metropolises).
  • Reinforce the value of Apur as a platform and assembler for local authorities and key players in the Metropolis.
This is divided into 4 sections:
  • Section 1/ reference data and maps.
  • Section 2/ studies, changes in regulatory frameworks and forward looking research.
  • Section 3/ the international position and decentralised cooperation.
  • Section 4/ spreading information and exchanges via the internet, social media, professional networks and on paper.
This programme was adopted on December 11th, 2014 by Apur’s Board of Directors.
