Following a first study carried out in 2004 on Paris at night, it seemed interesting to evaluate the changes that have taken place since then.
Today, many shops stay open later in the evening and the nocturnal transport network has been strengthened and restructured, which has contributed to an increase in Parisian night-time activity.
At the same time, problems of conflicting uses between local residents and those going out at night have emerged.
It was necessary to update this study to provide a new overview of this relatively unknown space-time, Paris at night, and retrace the changes that have taken place over the past ten years.
