51% of GIE Paris Commerces re-let premises favour commercial and artisanal businesses.

Since 2017, the 3 main City of Paris social landlords (Paris Habitat, Elogie-Siemp and Régie immobilière de la Ville de Paris), joined in 2022 by their subsidies (Aximo, Habitat Confortable, Hénéo and HSF), have benefited, via GIE Paris Commerces, from a single structure being responsible for re-letting the ground floor, business premises of their properties.
In 2023, a total of 214 premises were re-let, of which 108 (51%) are now occupied by commercial or artisanal businesses and organisations, 20% by non-profit-making associations, 17% by offices and 11% by medical activities, 48 premises are devoted to activities of a responsible nature (organic/short food supply chains, eco-friendly mobility, reuse, repairs, etc.), i.e. representing almost a quarter of all business premises rented out.
