With the program:

  • island of heat / island of freshness: what measures?
  • alternative system to the whole pipe: positive look
  • climate change
  • comparing the costs of different stormwater management scenarios and modeling
  • working with nature, overview of issues and actions
  • control of urban runoff at the source and vegetated techniques
  • presentation of the 11th program 2019

Frédéric Bertrand, urban architect at the Apur, will speak on "alternative system to all pipe: positive look". Urban water management, especially rainwater, is often seen as a black spot in the water and sanitation cycle. Should we not see in this situation an opportunity to change our outlook on this cycle, to reconsider its place in the design, management and uses of the city? It is in the identification of these resources and these potentials that the Parisian Urban Planning Workshop has focused.
