The Metamorphoses workshops – a place for forward-looking discussion about water – set out to question the place of water and its relevant infrastructures and jobs, in tomorrow’s city: a more sustainable, more connected and more inclusive city.

In an informal exercise looking at the future, four experts will share their visions and imagine the future of Paris Waterboard -Eau de Paris-, a public municipal company with a unique industrial, natural, architectural and human heritage.

  • Dominique Alba, architect, specialist in urban issues, Managing Director of the Paris Urbanism Agency (APUR)
  • Emmanuel Delannoy, management expert in innovation and bio-mimetics, consultant, author of “Perma-economy -Permaéconomie-” and the report “Biodiversity, an opportunity for economic development and job creation” – the sustainable goods company Pikaïa.
  • Paul Leduc, general engineer specialising in sustainable development, Head of the Department of Planning, Housing and Nature – Minister for Ecological and Inclusive Transition
  • Eric Vidalenc, specialist and blogger on energy issues (Economic Alternatives), scientific advisor to the Centre for Foresight Thinking and Studies - Futuribles, co-author (with Jacques Theys) of the report Re-thinking cities in a post-carbon society (Ademe-CGDD).
