Metropolitan Solidarity - a metropolitan advanced studies programme

This one year course “Manager in the Grand Paris Metropolis” takes the form of 6 one and a half day workshops.

The course is run by the National Centre for Civil Services -CNFPT- and is intended exclusively for civil servants working in Ile-de-France, priority being given to those working in the Grand Paris Metropolis. Around fifteen participants will attend all of the courses. They will be selected from applicants working as directors or “promising” managers, for example territorial administrators in charge of missions, who would like to take on a  senior management position in the Ile-de France metropolitan area.

The course’s approach is to enable participants to be aware of the specific complexities within the metropolis and Ile-de-France and to be resolutely oriented towards action based as much on the theoretical and practical elements resulting from experience and case studies as on the course participants’ strong commitment. It will allow qualifying participants not only to understand the dynamics of new territorial systems but also to  gauge the operational challenges of Management in a constantly evolving context, through the multi-disciplinary and forward looking analyses carried out interactively with the training instructors who come from various different backgrounds.

The course has been designed and is organised by the Regional Delegation of the Inner Ring of Suburbs -Première Couronne d’Ile-de-France- with support from the National Centre for Skills to Enhance Urban Planning and Sustainable Development -INSET Dunkerque-.

All the course sessions will take place in Pantin at the CNFPT premises for the Ile-de-France Region -Délégation de Première Couronne-.

As part of the course Patricia Pelloux, Deputy Director of Apur, will present “The Olympic Games, a lever for solidarity in the Grand Paris Metropolis?”
