At the event of the discovery boat trip, Est Ensemble will launch its Université Populaire on 3rd December. The theme of the first cycle : large transport infrastructures and their impact on landscape and development in the territory.
Organised in this unusual context to ensure a large number of participants at the Université populaire sessions, the visit-conference format will feature throughout the season.
The morning of the 3rd December should draw a hundred or so participants and will take place in two parts:
- A visit-conference beginning at 9 a.m. in Pantin
- A conference beginning at 11.30 a.m. at the Est Ensemble head office, which will be preceded by a presentation of the Université populaire by Gérard Cosme, its Chairman.
The conference given by Dominique Alba, Managing Director of Apur (Paris Urbanism Agency), and Christiane Blancot, Director of Studies at Apur will focus on “Transport infrastructures, development and urban transformation: the example of Est Ensemble”.
