Infinite spaces - To construct buildings or spaces?

France Pavilion - The Venice Biennale - 16th International exhibition of architecture

Lieux infinis - Construire des bâtiments ou des lieux?

The Infinite Spaces -Lieux infinis- proposal, made by the Encore Heureux team formed of the architects Nicola Delon, Julien Choppin and Sébastien Eymard, enhances spaces and places which are produced in original and inventive ways that generate quality architectural processes.

While being attentive to the whole territory, the project highlights initiatives taken by civil society and local authorities that put into play a certain liberty to experiment in a spirit of “Permit to do” and the possibilities offered by architecture. Through using the values of programming liberty and the generosity that it activates, it fully addresses the theme of Freespace, chosen by the two Chief Commissioners of the 16th International Venice Biennale of architecture, the Irish architects Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara.
