The Grand Paris Express is one of the largest construction projects ever undertaken in Europe. Its aim is to transform the Grand Paris metropolis by developing 200km of new railway lines, building 68 new stations and as a consequence transforming the station neighbourhoods. The conference objectives are to examine the current and future impact of this new metro system and the development of its station neighbourhoods.
